Sending a frame to Germany
Discussion
You're sending an old bike frame to Germany for a respray????
Do they apply the paint with brushes made from unicorn pubes or something?
How much is the frame worth? It looks like Parcelforce would cost you about £70 one way, but that would only include insurance up to £500, and I assume the frame must be worth a fair bit more than that to justify sending it that far? I had a look on parcels to go (I'm on a dreadfully dull conference call!), but they reckoned a bike frame would be too big for any of their services. To use Parcelforce, you'd have to have H+W+L dimensions of less than 300cm.
Were Klein the ones who used to do those hideous two tone frames that looked like they were designed to go with 80s neon legwarmers? (and that's speaking as someone who used to own and love a bright green car!

I got quotes of around £25-50, insured up to £250. Not bad at all.
