I can only offer an opinion since i have not driven either but i have considered a 4C myself.. Personal biased opinion, its Italian.. and so will never be as 'good' as many competitors in the market but i promise you it will feel more special than any of them

It will have a tonne of advantages as well, such as only being a 1.7 turbo its gonna be peanuts to run if your used to a big brute and so tax etc will also be a bit more forgiving. I only have a couple of 90s/00s Alfa V6s but i absolutely love them, i would say check around for a reputable specialist as local as possible first.. Maybe even find a showroom that has one and pay them a visit

Whats your thinking at the moment, where do you stand on pros/cons ?? And what have you currently or previously driven ? Also what is it going to be used for as i cant help but feel its going to be a PITA to get in and out of ! You might be fine with it but some passengers may not appreciate the struggle lol
I have driven both. I drove the F type "R" near Le Mans last year and it's a nice car. It makes a good noise and the flappy paddles are fixed on the driving column and not the steering wheel. It was fast and floaty with good brakes and felt like I was in my lounge.
If you have driven a Lotus Elise/Exige then the 4c is similar but not the same. You have to like driving as it consumes your thoughts focuses your brain.
So, I summary one is for old farts and depreciates like a greek villa and the other is for enthusiastic drivers to enjoy. I have a brand new black Alfa 4c in my garage ;_)

All my Alfas are black but that is on a different level, I bet it looks amazing !! I still want to add a 60s rosso red spider to the collection but i have to ask how is it ?? (without hijacking thread too much sorry!) Iv read about revs trick and people claiming a sub 4s 0-62 and nothing but good things from owners. I have to say it will be interesting to monitor depreciation with the 4C as it is one of my reservations plus i would have to sell my TVR to buy and i just dont think im quite ready to give that up, although one upside being the 4C might ensure i live to see 30 lol..Plipton said:

Jag for looks, comfort, quality,
Alfa for special-ness, engagement and go.
a draw on noise.
Personally I'm looks obsessed, and the F-Type is damn near perfect, but in the end I prefer the road less travelled and reckon the F type will be a more common sight.
Alfa for me please.
Mettalic red, cream interior
thank you.

And by the way; a cream interior is not available on the 4C.

Alfa for looks, weight, special-ness, engagement and go.
