Driving a TVR breakdown cover is probably seen as a 'must have' by most people, so Who's the best, and Who's got the best deals on at the moment?

I use Green Flag.. £120 for full coverage, wife & I on any car.

They've been very quick and helpful the two times I've used them in the last few years. Never needed it since I've had a Nissan tho'

If you insure your TVR through Sunninghill you get full RAC cover for the car thrown in as part of the policy. This includes homestart, relay, european cover and everything.

Considering Sunninghill were the cheapest for me this year as well it was a bit of a bonus!

Just changed from them (this afternoon) to A Manning (£215 cheaper) but no breakdown cover, so as long as it's cheaper than that I'm up on the deal
What level of cover do you get for £40 via the TVR car club?

Damn, I didn't get a quote from A Manning. Oh well, never mind. £766 is better than the £900 I paid last year to Cheam who were the cheapest, and my wife and I have both got 3 points since then too.

I guess I'll have to try A Manning next year.

RAC: 70 odd quid for the 'roadside'+'recovery' service

Prepare yourself for a french farce though...

Needed them once. They sent four trucks, two to the right city, and only one was suitable - a flatbed and that one took 3 hrs...

V funny!
