Oh God. Haven't seen it yet, but I just know it's going to be one of those 'seemed like a good idea at the time' things. My toes are already curling...

Good special. I especially love the story of delivering the bolts to a Ferrari owner in Denmark and taking his 6 year old son out for a passenger ride in the 575M used as a "delivery truck" :-

"As I blasted round Copenhagan's ring roads at ludicrous speed, pulling enough g-forces through the bends to have his little head rocking almost off his shoulders, Martin chatted to me constantly in excited danish, somehow not quite realising that I didnt understand a word he was saying. It was just about the most charming 20 minutes I've ever spent in a car"

Bless

Top piece of writing that.

Kevin - its a fab piece on you mate, nothing to worry about

Great issue... one of their best.

I find with Autocar that they do have some boring issues, then go and produce an ABSOLUTE CRACKER like this one. Worth the subs price any day!

Their artists impressions get cornier by the minute.

Kevin - is that a service you provide for all cars

Rico - where are the pictures of Karl. And does he have a mobile phone pinned to his ear and his overalls on?

Hey Justin, that's not a grin, it's the moment I pulled a muscle in my neck.. And Brian, it was drizzling and we dried the car off because the rain was dulling the reflections. Out of 175 photo's he took, they chose that one. Good job I'm such a photogenic bastard eh? Article isn't bad actually; they had enough material to make me (and others) look like dicks, such as how much money sunk into cars vs how much you will ever see again, but didn't use that. Good blokes.

Photos as requested

Karl Verdi (sorry about the flash reflection)

This guy has been mentioned... think he's a PHer??

if anyone from Autocar wants them removed, email me... but tbh you can't really read them and it's probably got you a few more sales from fellow PHers who might not buy Autocar

No idea on the last guy (other than what it says in the article but he looks a little pi$$ed off to say the least).

p.s I bought Autocar today as a direct result of Rico's breach of copyright so dont sue him

Oh FFS! I have been hovering around the little newsagent stand for the new copy and have just realised we are a week behind you here.

So, I will be reading the 12 page BMW special for a bit

Any reason to get excited about the latest copy of Evo?
