Hi fellas,

Just wondering if anyone has any recommendations for compact flash card readers? I would have just got the Sandisk one as I use their cards and currently use their USB2.0 reader, but the USB3.0 one has some terrible reviews. I'm looking for something reliable, fast and reasonably flat (so it can fit easily alongside the laptop in it's bag).

Thanks for any info,

Tim

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Kingston-Technology-USB-Me...

I have one of these, been using it for a few months now with no issues. Transferred several GB of photos and video from SD/MicroSD cards with no problems.

Go for the Lexar:

Well built, very fast, 100% reliable (I've had mine for almost 3 years now). Folds flat for easy transportation (saves stuff going into the slots when in your bag).

Gets my vote too - we use several of these ones at my work, in use pretty much every day. As a bonus, if you're ever using an SD card at the same time, both cards mount and will transfer at the same time

+1

Gone through 2 or 3 before i found this one, excellent speed, and pins seem to be pretty solid.
