Went out for a blast in the car; hadn't run it for two weeks.

I like the Tadcaster to A1 route cross country through Barkston Ash, etc. Some nice long straights and no cameras, though I have seen a few T5's parked up on the Sherburn by-pass.

Where roughly are you Steve?

i am near whitley bridge jct 34 m62 that sherburn road is full of cops after bikers that go to sherburn

At Barkston you shoud turn left to Church Fenton, a couple of very nice straight bits and back out onto the by-pass. Added bonus of a good pub or two and you can pop in to us for a coffee!!

Guilty as charged. The Chimaera had a lose wire and would not start so had to take the blue beastie. For once I had decided not to take the A162 but did the A64/A1 route to get to Leicestershire. Did take that route on the way back last night though .

Was it you that flashed ? I saw some head lights but could not identify the car.

I pulled into the lane for the turn off for the M62 at Knottingley on the A1, and just caught a glimpse of the back of your Tuscan and recognised the plate.

Not the best weather for hooning mind you, had the back dancing at roundabouts a few times.
