Where are the 550's?
Discussion
Having recently parted company with my 612 my Ferrari V12 requirement has become even more specific; it now needs to be attached to a manual gearbox. Given prices and availability I'm not ruling out LHD but if anyone is looking to get out of a 550 and into something else you know where I am. And yes, wanted ad placed.
Isn't there 15 advertised on here ?
I understand the older the car gets the harder it is to find your specification requirements but unless you are extremely lucky there is always a compromise with a used car. The older they get I would guess the greater the compromise can be.
Lots of where are the .... Ferrari threads but in comparison to the 3 RHD 650S spiders they seem to be common and readily available

To be pedantic, the 15 adverts are made up of 4 wanted ads, 1 sold car and 2 Barchettas, leaving 3 LHD and 5 RHD 550 Maranellos actually listed.Jonathan
Loads of choice
You could be looking for a 348.....3 rhd available and that's a peak availability in the last 6 months.
One thing with the older cars is people are holding on. Love the 550s was sorely tempted 2 years ago.. Mistake financially ..yes. But where the market goes who knows. Interest rates are naff all, we've all gone through a tough 5-8 years. People now want what they missed. This has got to be part of the driving factor.
As said there are a few out there. It may be a case of compromising or sit and wait and pay more.
No such thing as Bargain at the moments with ferraris.

Unfortunately because the market has gone crazy 550s are now worth £457,000,000 each and owners seem to think they'll double in the next 3 months so appear to be holding on to them. Best of your luck with your search they're lovely cars! Hope you get one soon.
