Anyone happen to know if I bought a detector from the US that it would work just as well in the UK ? ie are the X,K,Ka bands the same. Appreciate your comments all.

Is the Valentine One still the best, and is there a new model ? Most of the recent tests I've read rate the various Bel products higher.

The Bel products usually do better than the V1 due to the cost of the V1 in the UK, but if you can buy one in the USA then the cost is a LOT better! Not sure about a new model, try www.valentine1.com which is the companies web site ================ Graham and Rosie

I was looking on the V1 web site on how to disable X band, and it lists an option on how to disable ku band, and the o/s version its available on. so not sure if its a new version or just a software upgrade to detect ku. I got mine late last year when at the usgp and it doesnt have Ku, or the latest o/s version so it must be fairly new. not much else on the web site about it though. G
