composite door supplier and installer
Discussion
I do have a recommendation, but PH rules state that I can't directly name the supplier.
They are a national installer of windows and doors and their name starts with "A". Their product is widely regarded as the best.
My recommendation: avoid 'em like the plague...

We had 9 windows and 2 doors fitted in February. Of these:
- One door and one window had to be remade due to a measurement error.
- Two windows were not as requested. Transom bar in the wrong place.
- Making good on the front door took three goes and a senior management visit to get right. As basically they offered a product that they didn't know how to fit/finish. The end result is horrendous, I need to get a plasterer in to fix it. Frankly I've given up trying to get A******* to fix it, I don't want the buggers anywhere near my house again.
- Front bow window was mismeasured and consequently looked awful from inside and out. Had to be completely removed and refitted.
- They damaged an oak floor that now has to be ripped up and replaced.
- One triple glazed window looks like it's too heavy for its hinges and catches when it opens and closes.
- Rear door hinges badly fitted. They're adjusted to the extreme limits and the door barely closes without catching on its seals.
- Bay window fitter blocked my loo, which he cleared using my loo brush. OK, these things happen, but I'd argue that there was no need to leave the brush sitting in 6" of filthy brown water.
