Removing nosecone

Went for a quick run out today and after a few miles noticed the warning light was still on the speedo, turns out the fan belt has snapped. How easy is it to remove the nosecone? Ive only had the car 18 month

18 months and you haven't had the nose cone off? There are four 1/4 turn fasteners (dzus) the upper ones are under where the front engine cover spring loaded latch is, The lower ones are under the nose. After they are loose, Just lift a bit then pull it forward and it should slide right off.
