What a day I picked to collect my car from Sheffield !

Fortunately by the time I got up to Tees Side, and the weather had really closed in, my confidence in the car was complete.

Richard had rebuilt the suspension and brakes, front and rear, and sorted the steering too.
A few other things were also fixed ( like a new engine mounting).
The car now has new fully adjustable shockers and new springs all round, balljoints, bushes, etc.

As can be imagined, the car is now a really nice drive, responsive, and well-mannered.

Richard was also reassuringly complimentary about the condition of the rest of my car.

There was some very interesting machinery sitting around the workshop, including a 700bhp+ Tas' racer being readied for next season.
That I have just got to see race !!!

For the moment I'm broke but happier.

RT sounds like a really good guy. When I bought mine I spoketo him about all the work he had done on the car, gave me load of confidence in buying.
Glad you're sorted now Graham, shame RT can't do voodoo, get rid of this bloody weather.
Next time you're passing Neil, please drop by. I'd love to see the car.

Richard does seem a really nice guy, and of course the ultimate Wedge enthusiast.
I was just sorry not to have been able to stay down there
longer, talking cars and looking around the workshop.
Snow was forecast and Wednesday were playing, so I thought I'd best get off home.

Richard had also taken the trouble to have my car cleaned and polished to perfection, which I very much appreciated.

Trackdays ?

Who knows ? My next little job for RT is likely to be

a Cossie 24V transplant, or maybe even a Turboed V6,
or in other words, the most powerful thing that will fit between the chassis rails

Hmm - that means better brakes...
