SLR exhaust not repackable IIRC
All exhausts are repackable with some skillful use of an angle grinder and a welder !!!The packing doesnt last 5 minutes and gets burnt. Had mine re done as got fed up with the drive by keep tripping despite the static being fine. Job done.

That's my definition of not repackable
The problem with any exhaust like the ones we run is the internals get very hot and burn the interior stuffing / wadding. Changed mine recently and it looked like a dead cat that fell out the end !Presumably if we had the room for big internal baffles and the like , wadding would not be required.

Drove down to Brands Hatch on Friday and the car passed the Static with a reading of 95.5. Only thing now is if the pops and bangs the car make pass the drive by. Should be ok but I am booking myself into a track evening at Snetteron next week to see what happens.
Are you at Snetterton tomorrow evening by any chance? If so I'll see you there!Far Cough said:

Perhaps I need to learn to weld. The cutting is fine, it's the putting back together that's the challenge.
