...are absolutely mental. Quite the best cartoons I have seen for years and years. I gather it's quite old now, can you get the whole lot on dvd?

Cow and Chicken seem to have that same level of slightly disturbing peculiarity...

I Am Weasel is also really rather bizarre.

Quoth Stimpy J Cat:

"Happy Happy Joy Joy!"

"Log, log, log
It's big, it's heavy, it's wood
Log, log, log
It's better than bad, it's good!"

Buying a Ren and Stimpy video was one of the proudest achievements of my life - the next will be buying the Magnum box set I saw in HMV last week...

Indeed. And I was impressed by the complete set of full-size Wacky Races cars at Goodwood this year

My friend, welcome to the world of Ren Hoek and Stimpson J Cat. Surely up there with Simpsons, Black Adder, Stephen Fry, Paul Merton and Have I Got News for You.

I have almost every episode of R&S on VHS and tried to find the DVD here in HK. Apparently it was never released on DVD. There is an online petition to Nickleodeon to get them to release it as they own the rights.

So is Ren & Stimpy available to buy on VHS currently?

Ren: "What's for dinner?"

Stimpy: "Space cabbage!"

R: "Is it stinky?"

S: "Just the way you like it!"

Fav episodes include:

The Tooth. The tooth fairy(aka Ol' man hunger) is a classic.

The fan mail episode where Ren disguises himself as Stimpy to get his fan mail.

The episode where Stimpy's cousin comes to visit and they wreck the house. "I'm gonna hit ya, and you're gonna fall, then I'm gonna look down and I'm gonna laugh".;laugh:

Too many to list.

Yes, there are quite a few available through amazon.

Anyone remember the 'eggnokio' episode... bonkers.

It's the only cartoon that makes my wife feel physically sick

eggnokia is another brilliant vision from the warped mind of John K. You just couldn't begin the dream of the storylines could you?

The sandwich at the end and last gasp "I love you" from Stimpy's mouth killed me.

Another great one is the dog show. Mr Horse is awesome in that. Not to mention George...American!

One of my fav quote from any cartoon, was in an episode of Ren & Stimpy, where they were captured by a group of bandits, whose boss condemned them to execution by hanging:

"Boss, we don't know what to them - the fat one's got no neck, and the skinny one's too light"

Fantastic.

and the song that went with it.
"oh the lord loves a hangin' that why he gave us necks, it tighten' up our vocal cords and losens up our pecks".

That is my all time favourite line from the whole show! I even got to watch that very episode about six billion times on a flight back from Australia last week. Talk about coincidence!

I know it's getting old school now, but I still love Beavis and Butthead. Uh-huh huh.
The fights, the dancing to rap videos, the nose picking and the rocking out.

Marvellous.

I see no ones mentioned South Park...
Family Guy... now that is crazy!
Dilbert the animated series
God, the Devil and Bob
And Futurama! Not quite the same impact as the simpsons, but there are some classsic moments. My favourite bit was visual... when they went to the zoo, and saw the "H...O...W...L...E...R... M...U...M...M...I...E...S" slowy slide across the screen!

Yes i do watch to many cartoons as you can see
