Had a great day last year with the weather being brilliant shame cannot go this year as its my LE MAN year bumma that it falls on Le Man weekend. It really is the Goodwood of the north and well worth the entrance fee

Yes I think it is always on the Le Mans weekend. It was my first time to this event and thought it was excellent, loved the fact that the pits where open to everyone. Best memory of the weekend was when a car (Brutus type thing) came back from his run, flames out if the exhaust infact the car was practically on fire, then the driver gets out cool as a cucumber as is like and and what!
Fantastic and recommended.




Dont forget the Vulcan is coming too.!

Thrilled you guys had a brilliant time last year, this year really is our best ever year for content. With the Lotus concour on Friday, American Muscle Cars on Saturday and 80's Supercars on Sunday and that's on top of all the amazing track content and air display content this year!

I am looking forward to this years! Last year was my first and it was brilliant, was nice to have a walk around the pits, and a walk around different parts of the circuit. Going Sunday this year, mainly for the Vulcan. Hope the weather is a good as Sunday last year

Its a pity its Le Man weekend

Was very entertaining and huge last year, so many rare and new models being demo'd (ragged!) on track plus lots to see and take part in for the family too.

Many big-power cars are promised

Definitely be there this year.

Such a shame that they seem to have no plans to deviate from second weekend of the month

I went the one year the ACO was forced to change Le Mans from 2nd to 3rd Sunday and had a great time - I was part of the demonstration in media city and the convoy run, I drove the hill course and did 2 dif types of hospitality on consecutive days including the concert. It was all really well organised and a lot of fun - I took petrolheads and non petrolheads - all enjoyed

But I go to LM24 every year and that's not likely to change, so that's probably the only time I'll ever do CPoP and I only live 30 minutes away from CPoP

They know LM24 is the second Sunday of June every year and a huge part of their target audience are therefore away.

They state they don't want to clash but they know when LM24 is well in advance and seem determined not to move their own date

I can't be the only person that would like to go back but can't because of LM. There must be thousands like me. I'd do company hospitality there to entertain clients if I wasn't in France

I know the motorsport calendar is tight, but what am I not getting here ? I just find it odd

I just wonder if they don't think that the typical CPOP visitor is likely to be someone who would make the trip to Le Mans and so the clash is minimal. I read a comment elsewhere the other day that suggested one difficulty is it's also not far off (time-wise) until Goodwood Festival of Speed so anyone who can do one but not both might well choose Goodwood, but again I wonder if it's aimed at those (like me, really) who aren't prepared to make the trek to the other end of the country and are satisfied with something smaller but a lot closer.

I noticed they've done better with the publicity recently, with a TV programme covering last years event and a piece on The One Show last week featuring Dougie Lampkin. I still don't understand why they don't get some of the footage they show on the big screens over the weekend, edit it down to a couple of hours and stick it on a DVD.

I think there are plenty of people who go to CPoP who wouldn't go to LM but there are lots who go to LM who would go to CPoP

There are 100k+ brits who drive to LM, of whom a reasonable proportion live in the North of England. Goodwood is a real pain for those like me, who live oop North

I find it hard to believe that there isn't a decent chunk of those people who would go to CPoP if they weren't at LM but because they are LM regulars, won't deviate from LM for CPoP

It's not just regular visitors, but also potential car showers, hillclimbers, exhibitors, etc.

I find it strange that there is an event that shows Le Mans cars, but if you attend the event you stop yourself from watching Le Mans, let alone visiting
