Top job - let's hope it's the start of something big. Factory assault on Le Mans, Mr Wheeler? (hint)

Fantastic achievement. Pity about the 1 hour stop. Watched a bit of the TV coverage (Eurosport), David Leslie mentioned the TVR whenever it was on screen - which was about 1 minute out of 24 hours

Fantastic job fellas...

You must be ganging for a Le Mans shot now.

Ted any chance we could get HI-RES versions of those pics as they are great... I need more desktop pics for my rotation

Once again, great work guys

The 1 hour stop felt like a lifetime. I was wearing the flooring out at the back of the garage. And when it came back in again with the same symptoms the crew were gutted (esp. Martin). Luckily it only took a few minutes to fix!

What amazed me was the reliability. Only a couple of small problems (ok, the orig misfire due to a wiring loom took over a hour to fix) after 24 hours of racing. The Speed Six engine was fantastic and one of the quietest on the track. Hopefully this will start to rebuild the reputation of this engine which wasn't too good before the race.

Next time the team might push it a bit harder now that a finish is under their belts. Simon might still be a teenager when he wins his first 24 hour race!

Ted, mail me your adress and I will send you the pictures on CD. I've got about 100 MB of Veryplast TVR pictures available. I just send three CDs out to Rollcentre and will hand two to Jo (the ones for Veryplast) at the weekend when I meet him at the Ring. Rob, maybe we can throw our pictures together. If you also want a CD, let me know your adress.

Forgot to mention, the pictures on CD are all 1380 x 1024. I decreased the ones I send to you so that they fit through the wire.

I have about 50 containing some TVR content from the race. The other 130 are other cars etc. All at 2160 * 1440. I'll have to convert them to jpeg.

Rob, picture no 8 shows us standing at Raidillion. About three meters right of the camera tower on the far left you can see the pulled in TVR flag post. Sadly, we had to pull it in because it obscured the camera view. A rather nervous Belgian urged us to do so just minutes before the start. What a shame, that would have been it...

And 'reeespec' is indeed due. I can wear my T-shirt with pride!

Excellent news for TVR, now we just need a repeat performance at Le Mans to hammer home the message! You have to look at the Six in a new light after this.

Hansgerd - I've dumped all (including the rubbish) of my photos of SPA at www.bedrock.demon.co.uk/Images/SPA/
I've cut the resolution of them as they would have been over 3Mb each!

That's a very nice gallery, Rob. That's an awesome camera you have there. I like the pictures of the drivers parade. I completely missed the TVR crew and only managed a picture when they were driving back down the pit lane again. I didn't know young Morgan was on board, nice one.

Well done Shorty and the team!!!
Fantastic effort by all.
Next Stop Le Mans????
Don't care if its in a Cerbie or a Tuscan (as they don't race Griffs!) as long as its wearing the TVR banner.
