Atera Strada Help

Following a number of threads on here and elsewhere I've treated myself to an Atera Strada DL carrier. It's an amazing bit of kit, but I'd be grateful if any users out there can give me a bit of advice.
When I locate the carrier on the towball, I have plenty of green button showing:
But when I pull the handle to clamp everything up, the carrier rises up the ball slightly and I'm left with this:
It seems very secure. I can't move it up or down, or side to side, but I'd feel happier if I had more green showing!
It's not particulalrly clear from this picture, but the way the carrier meets my towball means it can't sit any lower, so I think it is what it is.

Mine's very similar - fitted to a Landrover detachable tow ball.
I found I could get more green to show by preventing the rack from lifting when pushing the handle down.
It takes a couple more clicks to be truly secure than is suggested by the instructions, too, but performed flawlessly on a 2k mile round trip with four bikes, so no complaints.

Thanks chaps. I'm doing everything in the video, but it doesn't show how much green he's got showing.
It's certainly on tight enough but I'll try and push it down as I'm clicking the handle.
Clever bit of kit. Love the slide away function. I think threading three bikes on could be a bit of a Krypton Factor until I've got the hang of it!

So we had a successful trip out yesterday with three bikes on. Took me about 40 minutes to load them up in a way I was happy with, but only about 5 minutes on the return trip. I still need to do a bit of experimenting but I was very happy with how secure the bikes were on the carrier. I noticed a fair amount of "bounce" in the carrier itself though. Do other users notice this? i.e. the bikes are steady but the rack itself is going up and down. I think I spent more time looking in my mirrors than out of the windscreen! 
An old coil sprung Range Rover isn't the smoothest thing over bumps it's got to be said, and it has a long enough rear overhang without hanging a carrier on the back, but I don't think there's anything I can do about it. Do I need to try and get another click down out of the handle do yo think?
