Ive been running Candys on my road bike for about 3 years but lately on longer rides Ive noticed my right foot rotates around the cleat so im pushing down with the side of my foot. Ive tried moving the cleat outboard so my foot wont rollover but now my knee hurts.
Im thinking I need a more stable platform, maybe my age lol. Does anyone use these Times?

Ive found some Xpedo Thrust out here for $145 and by what I can google they are around £145 at home, still £100 though.
Any recommendations for trusty Shimanos SPDLs, there are a few diferent ones. Ill spend £30 to £70.

I used to have some Time pedals (can't remember the model but look similar to those linked) and I wasn't keen. It was hard to tell if you were properly clipped in as the engagement wasn't very positive.
I use SPDSL, they are very good and have different cleats for more/less float if needed. Can't really tell the difference between my 105 and Ultegras, probably marginal weight saving. A friend has knee problems and likes Speedplay although they are quire expensive iirc and the cleats are very bulky.

I've found that Shimano pedals lastes better than my Look ones, but Look may have improved, as it was a while ago.
The RRP for Shimano replacement cleats is £19.99, but you can sometimes find the R540 pedals for the same price which includes the cleats. I now have R540 pedals on my MTB and Brompton.
