I am a relatively new member here. Just wondered what cars all the members have up here in the North East.

There's a Marcos too, although some of it's on the drive, some of it's in the garage and the rest is in the house somewhere...

Err, I was in the process of getting it sorted in September, but illness sort of wiped me out for a mere 4 months.
I'm on the mend now though and working like mad to get the car sorted.
I'm porting the cylinder heads at the moment, and it's hard work!

And it's a Mantula coupe, but you're not the first (or the last) to get confused with all the model names.

You keep telling us you have a Marcos but I'm waiting to see the evidence.

I wondered what that was...
I'd better keep you away from the interior then!

Yep, 3R with M400 engine, suspension and brakes.

Picture of the car on my profile, sorry I cannot make Shafto's next week, but happy to show the car anytime (after the salt is off the road).

I have some in-car footage from the last Croft track day on DVD, so I will hope to make the next Safto's meet and bring the lap top with DVD.

Cheers,
Ian.

That would be fantastic. I tried to get a bit of footage myself, but the camera kept coming loose and videoed the headlining or the footwell.

Yes, I didn't have a successful time with the video camera that day. No incar footage at all and limited external footage - but at least you nearly got froggies first spin, well, you could hear it, but not see it
