Stopping hydraulic brake hose rattling on top tube
Discussion
I'm sure I'm not alone in having hydraulic hoses on a frame originally made for cable brakes. My cables run beneath the top tube, and at each end I have managed to pass them through the C-clip in the frame originally intended for the cables, but I'm noticing that on uneven terrain I'm getting, for want of a better description, 'hose-slap' (sounds painful), or 'hose-chatter' as it bounces up and down against the underside of the top tube.
What options do I have? The most simple one is a couple of zip ties, but this is PH and cable routing and neatness matters, and zip ties just won't cut the mustard. I've also read in a couple of places that zip ties can actually be rather sharp and cause cuts on your legs. Not good.
I've seen these hose clips, but I can't really work out what they attach to on the bike?

I've also seen these spiral things that wrap around the hose, but I'm not sure whether that will actually help the problem as the hoses aren't actually being held in with anything and will surely continue to chatter underneath the top tube:

Should I try and run the cable alongside the top tube, perhaps using something like these?

Or am I overthinking this, and should I just get a couple of bits of sticky back foam installed discreetly between the underside of the top tube and the hose?
What have other people done?

You can get stick-on guides which would help keep it supported in between the bike's own ones and stop the rattling.

Else a cable tie with a small bit of tubing (or another, smaller cable tie) can provide a bit of spacing to keep the hose away from the frame slightly, eg:

those hose clips you posted are for frames that already have hose guides on them, as seen here:

the spiral things might help reduce the noise, but probably wont make much difference, and the adaptor widgets will only do the same job as whatever you have done already, as they just convert cable bosses to hose bosses.
I would just use zip ties on mine, find colour matching ones if you want them to stand out a bit less. If you get a stanley knife you can cut them off flush leaving no pointy bit to gouge legs on
