Having just secured a bike trailer to take my daughter out with me, I'm now looking to get a cheap bike for my wife. She's only been out once before with me on a hired Raleigh but she did enjoy it.

Looking to spend around £200 Max so may mean second hand but wondered if there were any recommendations for what to look out for? I have little knowledge of the women's market. Light as possible for the price point and if the frame is good enough as a rigid rather than a hard tail, then I'd consider it. She's only litle though so probably around a 15inch frame.

I have sat in the garage the bike SWMBO used to use, she has had to stop cycling due to health problems. It is an Extra Small ladies Giant hard tail MB. It has been well looked after, looking for £100.

Let me know if it is of interest to you and I can sort some photos etc.

Regards

Tony

Yep, something lightly used secondhand. New = Decathlon. Don't go anywhere near anything new with a bouncy looking fork at that sort of money.
