Still undecided, two episodes in and he has already had his ass well and truly handed to him and revealed his secret identity, will see in the next few episodes if it improves, so far just ok.
Bear in mind that in the first episodes of this season he hasn't really established himself yet and is still kinda reacting to things he finds out and sometimes jumping in feet first. He has no super strength or super speed, yeah he has his super senses I guess, but if your jumped by a bunch of guys who have specifically set a trap for you then you are gonna get pretty creamed. He is just a human afterall. Part of what makes him so watchable. The fight in the corridor in that episode is one of the most butal screen fights I have seen in a TV show. Apparently filmed in one take too?Without giving away spoilers or how the season develops the final episode is simply title "Daredevil" so I guess you can treat the whole of season 1 as the origin story

I love it, I think the tone is just right and happy that they have gone down the route where they are not afriad to show us the blood and injuries. Matt Murdock/Daredevil is superb and his partner Foggy is just brilliant, Funny enough but also gets some meaty story tones. Vincent D'Onofrio as Wilson Fisk is just plain amazing. So calm and calculating one minute, but when he loses his rag...Properly brutal and scary as hell.
Looking forward to season 2 already.

Watched the 1st two and we're hooked. Love the use of a primary colour pallet to emulate the comic book format.
With AoS, Peggy Carter and the Films Marvel really are turning out some quality entertainment at the moment.
Carter was absolutely awesome; still don't think its getting an official airing in the UK. Which is a real shame. With AoS, Peggy Carter and the Films Marvel really are turning out some quality entertainment at the moment.
The Daredevil film wasn't too bad, the TV show is definitely excellent. Shame they've released it all in one go.
Started watching on Friday. Up to episode 3 now. I am really enjoying it. Surprisingly so is the wife. So far there is little to no mention of special powers, only heightened senses.
Very different in tone to AoS and very much better as a result. I'd like to see Frank Castle introduced next series (perhaps as an antagonist) we might even see daredevil in the upcoming civil war film.
Hopefully Jessica Jones and Luke Cage will be as good.

Watched the first 2 episodes so far and very impressed. They've got the tone just right, the script and acting are good and the fight scenes are really well done. Especially impressed with the single shot fight scene in the corridor at the end of episode 2, very Oldboy/Raid in execution and deserving of respect as much harder to do than the modern shaky/jumpcut style employed so often nowadays.
Looking forward to the rest of the season.
Edit to add - The first 3 minutes of episode 3.
Someones definitely been watching The Raid 2, and was paying attention.

The beginning of episode three is the point when I realised it was more than just quite good.Looking forward to the rest of the season.

I am up to episode 8 now and I'm already disappointed that there are only 13 episodes..
Up to episode 7 now and I genuinely think this is the best work Marvel has ever done.
I'm a big fan of Avengers and the rest of the Marvel films but this is so much closer in tone to TDK trilogy and in some ways surpasses it as it isn't hobbled by needing to attain a PG13 certificate (my only complaint about Nolan's films).
It also has a villain with genuine menace and depth of character, which is always something Marvel movies have lacked. D'Onofrio's performance has blown me away so far and I can't help but think that Wilson Fisk is exactly the man Private Pyle from FMJ would have become had things gone a little differently in that bathroom...
I'm genuinely not one for hyperbole, but this is something very special so far and puts the vastly inferior Gotham to shame.

Not only does it out-Gotham "Gotham", it gives the Nolan trilogy a run for its money. It's well written, nicely paced, beautifully shot and sounds great, the acting is fantastic, (d'Onofrio is capable of both great subtlety and scenery chewing) and I'm sad that there's no more for at least another year.

I find him a genuinely likeable character whilst being Wilson Fisk attempting to get over his nerves in talking to Vanessa, then he scares the actual s
The part where he told her the safest place was by his side followed by them watching Hells Kitchen go up in smoke was a strange way to demonstrate his love, but it appears to have worked.

That fight was just superb, it looked like a man desperately fighting with every bit of himself he had to give.
I have to say I am actually ready to start watching the season again already, such an utterly fantastic show.
Marvel really have stuck absolute gold with the casting here.. Vincent D'Onofrio is without doubt, hands down, the best 'Gangster' I've seen in a TV show. When he starts to talk you just cannot look away. Spell binding performance.
Charlie Cox and Elden Henson work so well as Nelson and Murdock, totally believable best buddies (Elden is plain superb as Foggy anyway). When Charlie Puts on the mask boy does he own the role.
And that corridor fight... World class!
ps. The Corridor fight is on Youtube.... utter brilliance...
