Anyone recommend a mechanic or independent garage in the Malaga to Marbella area, for my Boxster S? Had a look in past the dealers at Churriana and their prices were somewhat eye watering. Most routine work I could take on myself but I am thinking of bigger stuff (if & when it happens) like clutch and IMS bearing etc.

Used to use Sportwagen Marbella in Nueva Andalucia for a 996 GT3, they were independent but looks like they're official Porsche now. They were superb though, really know their stuff.

Yes, official Porsche dealer in Marbella. I think I'd need a wallet bypass operation if I went there wink

Picked up this thread.
Does anybody know of a shop that can look after air cooled cars close to Marbella?
Thanks

I have just driven to an ideal garage in the Marbella poligono, that looks perfect. Belgium owned, but speaks most European languages. 3-week waiting list and some fantastic cars - old E-type to new Ferrari in the shop being worked on.

My mate was enquiring about engine and transmission out on his 1978 Targa. He said he had two 911s in last week. His hourly rate is currently €75/hr.
