Im always moving the damn things to try to find a good position !

I find having the back of seat at a higher angle than normal seems to help, Weird.

Still a cool car

oh Bloody Great Car anyway but it does take getting used to the driving position.

I love the car. Even at 6ft 3" I still feel small in the Driving seat !

Seriously thinking about ordering the Gransport.
Decision on Thursday at the Dealer !

I find the driving position very strange, with the seats too high, offset pedals and a throttle pedal that makes me bend my ankle right back to get off the gas and on to the brake.

Great car all the same.

A lot of people talk about the "light throttle" on the 3200 / 4200 but personally its not been a problem for me , in fact I have not noticed it !

Its meant to be more "human" once the Tubi's Applied - Roll on the 10th Feb !

But the Driving Position makes me feel like I'm 2 inches high !

Yup the seats aren't great.

I find that the headrest feels too far back and this makes you feel like you're slouching.

The 4200 seats are IMO much better. They have an all-in-one headrest and feel more comfortable.

Never mind, our 3200's look infinitely better!

Think my next one will be a 5000gt now. Very happy with my 3200, so no reason to change. I can hang on for two more years.

Peddels on the 4000 are a bit offset and would annoy me. I also still like the 3200 looks. I was tempted for the Gransport but reckon the new one won't be far off the pace/driving style.

I wonder if possible to swap the seats? ie put 4200 seats in..I'd like an armrest too or would like the centre console raised.

I find the seats a little too high - my head brushes the roof even at the seats lowest position.

I found with my previous car that the best position was to have the seat back tilted quite a way and the front tilted upwards.

This gave me the most headroom but didn't do any favours for anybody who wanted to sit behind me.

On the suggestion of McNab, I'm having some of the foam taken out of the seat of my new 3200 - the trimmer has taken the seat out and is working on it. It will cost approx £150.

Craig - I spoke to the trimmer re armrest. He doesn't suggest adding an armrest to the seat as it involves what he calls "quite a bit of butchery". He thinks that it would be a better idea to build up the centre console (the bit between the seats where you keep sweets, etc). He is coming back to me with his thoughts once he's had a proper chance to look at it.

As said I find the 4200 very comfortable and must admit I hav'nt found any noticable pedal off set, will have a look the next time I'm in it, did the 'Supercar day' at Mallory with the 3200 as one of the cars, did find the throttle a bit 'all or nothing' but that suited my driving style (or lack of it)

4200 throttle response is much more progressive, but the rear lights are not as attractive as the 3200s IMO, still drop dead gorgeaos but a small flaw.

Still deciding on which zorst at the mo, so when you can get some sounds up 'maser3200gt' that'd be , interestingly I had an email from a guy who has just started importing 'Mille Miglia' who performed a Pepsi chalenge test against the Tubi and 84% of people whent for the Mille on sound and looks!

he's also willing to order and fit one F.O.C on the basis if you dont like you dont have!

£1300 plus vat tho

Cheers

Nik

thread hijack...

While we're on seating - anyone got the number / loction of the fuse for the passenger seat electric motors?

Mine seems to have blown at the weekend leaving the passenger seat stuck in one position, and I want to get it fixed for tomorrow...

Cheers!

Ni Nik,
Ive gone with Scuderiasystems.
will video the before and after fitment for the site and its also due to be posted on Manu's Webpage as well.

I did not receive a good enough price to entice me to go elsewhere and the customer service from Manu is %100 so I have ordered there!
Should be arriving in the UK around the 10th Feb for fitting.
