Latest feedback from Taipei bike show is that , due to sustained euro weakness as a result of ECB QE, bike prices in Europe are set to rise up to 20% in 2015.
Retailers cant absorb all the price hike so if your looking for a new bike, better get a move on.

Surely as we're not in the Euro it shouldn't affect us?

Wishful thinking I know but we can always hope.

do we actually manufacture any bikes in the UK? If so the Euro weakness wont apply.
I thought most European manufacturers outsource from Asia and they then ship across to the UK retailers and distributors.

I wouldnt worry, there will still be loads of new, old stock around from plenty of reputable brands, you just have to know where to look!... wink
