I'm ashamed to say I like that, and have to praise their new 3255 movement (as well as the in-house Tudor one).....this isn't good for my reputation!

I'll take a stab – £8800 on the (patented) rubber strap.

I guessed £12k but then found out it is £16k!)

Yeah, just realised the Daytonas are £12K more for Everose than SS – my 30% increase for losing the bracelet, and replacing the platinum bezel insert with ceramic, was a just fractionally optimistic!

I like it. I have a Breil on rubber which is similar looking if you kind of squint lol.

I'm torn on the 40mm DD. I think it looks good and is the "right" size but it's probably just killed the residuals on my 36mm. Not that I plan to sell it.

I think last year was better.

The SS Daytona has a SS bezel, not Pt. And the bezel is solid without an insert.
I think you meant Yachtmaster

You're confusing yourself!
We've been discussing the new Everose YM, so my guess was based on the price of the SS YM, as indicated on Watchfinder.
I subsequently think their figure of £7100 is incorrect, and £7700 seems to be the actual number.
Nevertheless, I was way out, and as £16K is purported to be the expected price, it's all academical now anyway.

How is that a yacht-master? Beautiful looking watch but as there is no count-down facility from the older yacht-master II, isn't it just another Rolex desk diver?

Isn't that just a gold version of the Tudor Pelagos?

So the DD40 is a replacement for both original DD and DD2?

And the DJ39 a replacement for both DJ models?

If by 'my' you meant YM, then that would make sense.
The pricing however I do agree with you, all a bit smoke and mirrors 'look at the shiny'
the ER YM
loses a SS bracelet, but gains a a ER deployant,
loses Pt bezel and bezel insert, replaced with ER and ceramic
loses SS case, gains ER case
loses Pt dial, replaced with a black dial.

I think there would be a price increase, but not 30%
Then again, they make them, the set the price and people still buy them.
