Bike / Home Insurance
Discussion
Hi
Had 3 bikes stolen from my garage back in December.
Insurance paid out, but renewal is now due and they want an extra £350 / year premium, and are excluding the bikes from the policy, so its what you might call a 'double hit'.
I seem to remember seeing a thread with a link to a bike insurance company that specialised in bikes, but also insured the home and contents.
Also, does anyone know of a company that insures bikes for theft only, the ones I have found seem to want to insure you for everything, similar cover to what you have on a car, damage to other road users, and your bike etc.
Any help appreciated

Sorry to read about your theft.Any help appreciated
I'd be surprised if the third party cover added anything to the cost of the policy. I only have third party cover (I'm prepared to stand the financial risk of losing my bike to a thief but could not afford the cost of providing ongoing care to a pedestrian who sustained a life-changing injury) and that only costs me £20 pa, with a vets race licence thrown in. The sums involved for a theft pay out would be far, far lower but the frequency would be far, far higher, of course, and that'd be the overriding determinant of the policy cost.
I use bikemoplus which covers theft/racing damage etc and covers all my kit (garmin, bibs, shoes etc
After 2 years of racing uninsured I decided to finally get insurance this winter and then 2 weeks later I was taken out by some t
