The BBC have a "talking point" on 'What would you like played at your funeral?'

I'd choose "Street Spirit (Fade Out)" by Radiohead, although as a PHer I guess it should be Chris Rea's "Road to Hell".

If it was car related - how about Radioheads "Killer Cars" from the Itch EP...personally mine would be "No surprises" (OK Computer, track 10)

My Mum died last year and she was a really feisty woman. Struggled all her life and fought many battles.
One day, before her demise, I asked her what she wanted doing with her ashes after cremation
She thought for a moment and then said she wanted everyone she knew gathered together at the top of Berry Head cliffs.
I thought it was a lovely idea, having everyone there to see her scattered to the wind.
"Don't be so sentimental" she said. "If it's a windy day it means I'll be able to get up everyones nose at the same time!"

Top woman my old Ma!

Not sure about the funeral, but Ped from Frankie goes to Hollywood had the perfect fantasy death - "On the job, so you could come and go at the same time"

Surprise: You're Dead - Faith No More. It's pretty lively, too, so the vicar should raise his eyebrows a little.

Went to me auntie’s funeral and her granddaughter did a solo on the clarinet 'Cry me a river' - the church was full of ex army types and they were all blubbing.
