Planet X carbon road bike with Sram Rival?

Hi guys got myself a Boardman Team Carbon 2009 and i love the Sram Rival, i'm due to get a new cycle to work scheme bike in June and i tried the latest Boardman Tam Carbon and the Tiagra shifters felt crap in comparison.

Seems the Plan X bike is the only CF road bike i can get with Sram Rival for under £1k. Been very impressed by the CF frame on the Boardman, is the Planet X one decent too? Any owners on here?

I'm almost certain that this Viner is the same frame albeit with a different paint job, but £200 less.

I've got a Pro Carbon and had a look at the Viner last time I was in the showroom, same geo and everything.

I love mine, a little bit buzzy on really bad roads compared to my commuter/winter bike but it is so much lighter and is so nicely chucked about that I love to ride it. Came in to work on it today because when faced with the two in the shed and the sunshine out, there was only one choice.

I got mine in white though.... looks great, takes a lot of cleaning!

Planet X RT-58 is worth a look if you can get it with Rival. Newer frame than the Pro Carbon, which is actually getting on a bit now.

Be aware that you will have to suffer Planet X customer service which isn't the best. Also, I don't rate the finishing kit very highly, but that is just me being picky.

I bought one about a month ago (annoying for you, it was only £849 at the time) and I love it, a definite step up from my Giant Defy 4 that I had been using and love the SRAM groupset.

Sounds like you have all the info you need,i'm really pleased with mine,it gets used for everything,its lively enough for me but comfortable for hours in the saddle. Ive upgraded the wheels and fitted a carbon seatpost,it was £800,think they are still the same price?
