Can't quite find the answer to this, so maybe someone who does this regularly knows the answer!

How long does it take disembark and be on your way?

I'm planning a trip to Sweden and will need to catch the Kiel -> Gothenburg ferry which departs at 18:45. And in reverse on the way home it arrives in Kiel at 09:15.
I'm trying to plan the journey (and book chunnel trains) with realistic journey times between Calais->Kiel including how long I'll be trying to get out of the terminals.

If the Chunnel site says my train arrives in Calais at 6:44, can I expect to be driving on the motorway at 7:00, 7:30 etc...?

And the same question for the reverse if anyone has used the Gothenburg->Kiel ferry? If that ferry arrives at 09:15, do I need to account for 30 mins? 1 hour before I'm driving on my way back to Calais?

With Eurotunnel you're off the train very quickly. I've never timed it but I would say just a few minutes after arrival (barring problems).

For the return leg, I wouldn't worry too much unless you're travelling in a really busy period. In my experience Eurotunnel are very flexible and just put you on the first train available, although they're often more difficult about putting you on an earlier train than the one you've booked than a later one (hope this makes sense).

No experience with the ferry in question, but my experience with ferries in general is that they seldom run 100% on time, and that disembarkation definetely takes longer.

That's good to know (re: tunnel), helps me plan my timings.

I suspected as much for what you said about the ferry, hopefully the Kiel-Calais route has plenty of scope for making up lost time if the disembark is slow and I'm way off my current 10am target, not sure if I would touch on any autobahns for the part of the journey in Germany...
