Max Power yoofs enticed me to a blast in the S2 from a set of lights....they had the edge on the green since I was still in two minds....but I couldn't pull past until 70 ish (it was an empty dual carriageway by the way)

Couldn't recognise their motor in all the excitement, some jap number, Nissan probably, said 1.6 GTi on the back...presumably not bog standard -any ideas?

Just checked the specs for one of these and I shouldn't have caught it if it was, maybe the Max Power chaps felt sorry for me or were concerened about fuel consumption so eased off the throttle

I am fighting a losing battle to try and stop the GTIR to be classed as a Max Power car, I dont know many max power boys that could afford the group 20 insurance, never mind the 19mpg!

Corolla GTi...that's the kiddy. Performace was a bit too close for comfort. I can see me having to upgrade my Blackpool Firecracker

My kid bruvver has one of these. Quick car, he enjoys putting all the local boy racers and sales reps in their place with it. I'm constantly trying to stop him Max Powering it though ...
