Nice spec 991, the press car

That looks a bit toppy to me anyway.. what would that be new? With the Gen II coming soon I'd be inclined to pay 10k more and buy new ..or get a later c2s with low miles for mid £70's

£10k miles in the hands of a 22 year-old scrote with a GNVQ in journalism who fancies himself as a racing driver...Not for me.

I bet about 500 of those miles were done in launch control.

(At least it isn't a manual - the 'box will have protected itself somewhat.)

I have to agree. 10k of press driven car... Would be proper hard use of the mechanical components of the car.. Wonder how the PCCB are doing too after track use..

For me greatest concern is harsh use from day one. No running in, no mechanical sympathy whatsoever. I read many magazine features where they would blame the poor 0-100 performance on the car having less than 1000miles. Makes me shiver only thinking about it.

I would not want that. Plus the new yellow doesn't do it for me. It's somehow bland and washed out. And this car in particular doesn't have heated seats ! How weird.. Which in typical Porsche fashion leaves an ugly blank black button on the centre console.
