Autosport Show 2005
Bigger and better and plenty to see
This year's Autosport Show certainly has a sense of purpose. Strolling around the halls this morning highlighted the sheer volume of exhibitors. Everything from the usual stands selling F1 merchandise to the hundreds of companies selling engineering and manufacturing equipment.
In between are all manner of other suppliers offering bolt on goodies for sportscars, roll cages, tyres, brakes, suspension, race cars, rally cars, auctions, magazines, track days and the usual bevy of dollies in tight Lycra (some too tight! :vomit).
Shortly Quaife will be unveiling their new track car and we'll post pictures up as soon as we've grabbed them.
TVR's Sagaris RT (Road and Track presumably) is here on the Pipercross stand complete with a gang of models whose clothes have fallen off.
The atmosphere at the show is certainly more positive than in recent years and hopefully reflects the state of the industry as a whole - things are on the up again.
