Hello Everyone,

I've just purchased a 996 GT2 Clubsport and on the data card some of the option codes are-

003
X50 option code
101 GT2 Option Code
722 Internal production code (GT-car)

Does anyone know if the X50 option is standard on a gt2 clubsport or is it a optional extra?

Congratulations!

Just bought one very similar myself, but a few more km on it.

I think x50 is standard on the gt2

Thank you, Not got the car yet but looking forward to it. I spoke to a friend this morning who has a GT2 also but on his data card its not got the X50 option.

Can anyone recommend who would the best person to speak who can confirm if X50 is standard on the GT2?

X50 is the code that they apply to the normal Turbo when fitted with larger turbos etc. There is probably a difference in coding between the Mk1 and the Mk2 cars. Are you comparing cars of the same era?

You should search for the GT2 thread on here. It's huge and plenty of owners post in there.
