After nearly 3 years of ownership, i think its a good time to sell my Tuscan. It has been a great car and very reliable with no major bills apart from a steering rack. my outlook on life has changed a bit and having a nice car is not the be all and end all, its time to see the world i think. Thanks for all the advice and help on the forum.

Yes I know , if anything I should be buying another tvr
You know it's going to happen !!!I sold my Tamora in the summer to a fellow PH'er, with the idea of getting out, or getting something different.
However true to form, I've just done the inevitable and put some hard earned cash down on a Tuscan !
Glutton for punishment I guess
Life eh

Well done.... I am on my second tuscan now.....can't live without one...just so radicalI sold my Tamora in the summer to a fellow PH'er, with the idea of getting out, or getting something different.

I get the 'should I sell' quandry about this time every year.
It has been made worse as I have moved house and while I have a garage I need to sort it out first and spend money on the house sorting first before enjoying the car and the bits that I need to do.
Come a few nice days in March / April I am sure I will think I was mad. Mine has been super reliable so far and a joy to own. Has needed a few bits while servicing and some Nitrons but never let me down.
I think one more Trip to the Med / Italian lakes and then onto something new. I am not bothered about avoiding rain but I haven't had the chance to drive it anywhere decent recently which has been annoying.

What have you brought, mk1 or mk 2I sold my Tamora in the summer to a fellow PH'er, with the idea of getting out, or getting something different.

Yes. Got about 50bhp on it and more torque. But I prefer working the speed six engine and the sound was better IMHO, especially as you climbed the rev range. Real snarl.
With the roof off and screen out it was so much more visceral. More of an event, certainly visually and aurally.
Saying all that, the Cerbera is growing on me enormously so hopefully I'll be able to add a Tuscan at some point rather than instead of. A nice MK1 in a lairy colour please!!

MK1 - mechanically all good, bit of an ugly duckling at the moment. Just needs some new paint, interior, wheels etc !
Looking forward to the fun of deciding what colour.

I'm driving the wife crazy already with Paint samples, leather swatches, and carpet all over the house !!!
If anyone is looking for some 16inch spiders with almost new tyres, I know where there is a set !!
