I've been thinking its time to invest in one of these gadgets and there are 3 main contenders - Geodesy, Road Angel and Origin Blue, all around the £400 mark (and at least two of them promoted by ex Top Gear presenters!). Has anyone a view on which is most reliable, easiest to install, best supported, most comprehensive database etc? I seen the reviews on www.ukspeedtraps.co.uk where all three are recommended.

I went the Geodesy route because:

(A) They were first to market.
(B) The unit can be chnaged from car to car using the cradle system. (I'm a lucky sod with two cars)

Also of note, when they introduced the Geodesy plus, they allowed me to upgrade for £50 rather than having to buy a new unit. Pretty good of them to be looking after their current customers.

Have Geodysey Plus on my Chim for a week and works well. Powered from ciggie lighter for now, resting on dash. Intend to permanently wire it in and rest it on steering column. Also going to fit Snooper for the guns.

Got a Geodesy t'other day, simple and effective, no probs so far. Only quibble is false alarms on the M-ways, since they pick up local road cameras nearby.
