I don't know it but it sounds very similar to my high mileage MK1... Similar timing of a "proper" rebuild too in terms of mileage and date.

If I was in the market still I'd be making enquiries about this one.

Don't be put off to much by mileage. If it's been well serviced and looked after (as this one seems to) then it will be good for another 100k.

My first Tuscan had a rebuild by TVR in 2003 @ 35k miles.
I bought it at 70k and it then had a second rebuild at Str8six.
Jason also did me a throttle body roller bearing upgrade.
I can say that the engine was brilliant so would say you can buy this car with confidence as far as the engine is concerned.

Yep, looks pretty tidy and fair value to me as also a later 2003, recent engine rebuild and clutch & slave. Happy with the one i got but if i was in the market i would definitely be looking at this one.

Well, time to confess, I took the plunge.....collected this morning after leaving a deposit earlier in the week bounce
Only done a few miles so far, but first impressions are very positive, can't get over the reaction from other motorists and pedestrians, never been pointed at in a car so many times in one day. wavey

Have to commend James from TVR MADS, what a thoroughly nice bloke, a genuine pleasure to deal with, very patient and knowledgable. Would buy from him again in a heartbeat, he has some lovely stock tucked away in his subterranean
Lair. thumbup

Only downside to this story is my faithful Chim will have to find a new home weeping I don't have the space or deep enough pockets to keep both.

Pics to follow, and probably a host of questions smile
