Sorry for the quality of the photo.....I believe it may well be the 575 replacement? But it appears to be a 2+2.

Also it's on German plates. Must either have been a picture of a development scaglietti or a coachbuilt job.

Yeh, the side angle view, from what I can see, looks much like the 612.

If it's a development Scag would it not have had a disguise?

It pretty much looks like the finished article to me. Maybe like you say it's a special.

Not convinced it's a Scag as the rear arches and wheel width lend it a much more muscular air than the 612.

Difficult to tell with the photo quality though - could the picture just be slightly distorted in a
w i d e s c r e e n sort of way?

The horse looks a bit fakey on the front as well.

Looks like someone parked an f-car next to a Peugeot and this was the badge offspring - very lionesque to me...there are some 'customer specials' around, as well as factory mutations so who knows. Except the owner.

Are you sure it is a real photo? Could it be one of those magazine artist's impressions where the front cover says "575 Replacement First Pictures" and inside they have the usual grainy spy shot of a disguised mule and next to it their artist's impression of what it will probably look like??? Some of those look quite like real photos.
