Alfas in intro to Our Guy in India
Discussion
Enjoyed this two-parter very much but can't help but feel that Alfa have somewhat shot themselves in the foot with the intro showing a modern Giulietta and its predecessor. To my eyes the classic Alfa is so much better looking than the modern. I know which one I would rather have.

The modern car is probably better handling (and yes I do know that it's not rwd), more reliable, more economical, faster and more comfortable, but having stated the blindingly obvious I too would take the older model rather than the newer one.
I still really like the new Giulietta though!

I think most would prefer the old car but finding one and getting one for less than the price of the new Giulietta would be very hard indeed! the fact a new one is a great pastiche of the old one is great!
I have one at the moment while my 4C is having some warranty work done (1.5 weeks so far) and its great! i drive a fair few mundane diesel box's with work and its probably the best of the lot all things taken into account. The usb media system is stupid though, always goes back to the start of whatever you were listening to when you switch off and the washer jet pipes popped off even though its garaged!
