That strikes me as being a good price for the car...

Was thinking about buying this car last year, as had a long weekend planned in Bath and thought I would check it out when I went down there in a couple of weeks. By the time we went it had been sold, don't make the same mistake!

Twas £55k then if I recall. Sorry to rub that in!

Not sure I agree that it's a good value car. Not currently at least. Cool colour but that's all it has going for it.

Says it's still under (extended) Porsche Warranty, which is good, but does that mean it must be on SOR?

Not keen on the aftermarket stripes, and I'd want pccbs and buckets.

Not last year it wouldn't have been 55k, they have not been that low since three years ago when they bottomed out.

80k might seem high but that's the way they are going at the moment, red comfort 997.2 went yesterday at 90k within 24 hours, 60k for a 70k mile 996 mark 1gt3 sold at 911v today.

Looking at that 80k for this looks ok.

I'd guess so. A third party dealer can't transfer Porsche warranty.

I've been trying to remember how much it was advertised for I think it was around low to mid 70ts.
I also think 80k is a bit on the high side but then it's a one off colour who knows orange could be the next Riviera Blue or Viper Green!

Strange how things went last year when I was looking around May June there were no Gt3 7.1 for sale and those that came up in some cases were sold within 2 hrs. Such as white one at 911 Virgin while I was debating as to if I could get there before they closed it was sold frown

In the end I found one at OPC Reading but ended up with low spec but low mileage, sometimes wish I had waited for a while. Some posters at the time said its not about the spec and more about the car as a whole engine and chassis now I tend to agree, but I would say that wouldn't I. smile

Owner decided to keep it wink

I do love the colour, just not sure I'd pay a £10K premium for it.

Not quite last year but just over a year ago! It was traded in to Camerons in Sept 2013 and sat around for a bit, couple of months perhaps, and the asking price was around 55k, I thought long and hard about it as I really liked the orange, but decided that it wasn't exactly what wanted, so rather than compromise I just kept keep looking/waiting/saving for an Orange RS.
Re price; agreed, I thought at 80k for a 997.1, even a nice one in a unique colour was overpriced, but look how quick it sold!

Not even a CS specification. £80K for a comfort surprises me, even taking account of the colour.

That is indeed correct.

Cars with a decent spec in good colours don't hang around for long.

I can understand the premium for the colour. The ad says its one of one, after all. You can retro fit seats whenever you like, but you are never going to change the colour (unless you want to lose money)!

£80k is a good price? Maybe for the seller!
