Decided to start fitting an amp to power the rear speakers in my tuscan... Great fun,

Had the cut the seats out as the front bolts were knackered. Lots
of swearing and a trip to B&Q for hacksaw blades and I now had access to route the power cables.

I'm stumped for an earthing point. Where do people usually earth there amps to?

Short of running a super long earth to the battery which I'd rather not do I'm out of ideas.... Help!!

In the Cerbera all the control boxes sit in the boot along with the fuse's so there is a single earth point for then all (the control boxes). Not sure how the Tuscans are setup but If they sit on top of your fuel tank in the boot then you should be able to follow them all back to one.... (Cerbs are on the far right as you look into the boot)

I ran a wire out of the boot through an existing grommet on the passenger side and under the car to a bolt on the chassis under the middle of the car above the diff. I should be able to post an image later.

Thanks Tim, I have mine currently earthed where the seatbolt reel bolts to the roll bar and it seems to be OK.

Looks like you don't need it but just in case.

Wire goes out of the boot:

Comes out of the grommet:

Goes to the chassis above the diff:

Would have a good look at these fuel hoses while your in there, the smaller one tends to rot, and then you get petrol fumes in the boot
