Expensive - my 355 mirror cost just under £1k to replace after parts, labour, paint and VAT were taken care of. From experience, Maser body parts are generally more expensive than Ferrari - budget anything between £500 and £1500.

Let us know how you get on.

I took mine off reversing into the garage a couple of weeks back. Cost of the replacement? £380 from Maranello's plus £90 for painting it up. You can fit it yourself but it's a fiddly job, you have to remove the entire inner skin of the door, speakers etc. There must be at least 40 bolts / screws and some are very diffcult to even find. I ended phoning the service department at Maranellos as I was doing it, for advice - they were very helpful.
If money is not an issue, get them to do it, if you're trying to save £'s, themn try and source a mirror from a breakers. I posted a thread not long ago and someone helpfully provided a link to a breakers that had a 3200 - unfortunately I had already done mine. Hope this helps.

You could ask our unfortunate friend who crashed his into the central reservation. He could pinch one of the wreckage and sell it to you THey looked in perfect shape on the pics.

Mas - I was told £150 per hour.

If you do a search on here you'll find a salvage site that may help you instead of paying for a new one.

Also, a good bodyshop could do as good a job as a Maserati garage.

The Maserati 3200 mirrors look identical to those used on the Alfa Romeo 166. These might turn out to be cheaper/ more plentiful in breakers yards.

Hi Pete,

My car is at McFall Salvage.

Phone them on 01925 225647 - they'd be happy to speak to you (or anybody else) regarding any part.

Best of luck.

Paul.

PS I'm still waiting for the DVLA to sort my personal plate, oh, and the cheque. Nobody seems to know when I'll be getting it.
