996 hard top rattle Carrera

We bought a 1998 996 recently

Just wondered if others experience a rattle with the hard top on. There seems to be a rattle from the front left hand side when the car travels along

We haven't had the roof off yet as its been wet since we bought the car and it lives outside

Is there anything to look out for to prevent this - the car seems watertight so that's good, just wondered if there are some dowels that need bushing etc?

Are there any tricks to fitting the top to stop this happening
