There are 2 levels, Monaco and Silverstone.
Essentially there is a one-off joining fee of £2500
Then - Monaco is £12,500 per year
SStone is £10,000 per year
Difference: Monaco has 1000 points (6000 miles)
SStone has 750 (5000 miles)
Average driving days - Monaco 70
Sstone 60
I've mailed them as I think it sounds a bargain having lost $$$ on depreciation, insurance, theft of new gt3 etc. Let's just see what their minimum age / license endorsements policy is !

I was a member for most of last year.
Had a fantastic time driving 15 cars over 50-odd days.
Don't know the minimum age reqs, but previous ownership or lots of driving experience in reasonably quick machinery considered essential.
They send people who haven't been actively referred by an existing member to a driver assessment course.
Very sensible IMO!
They are getting an early F430, DB9 Volante and of course, Damon's Ford GT this year.
I have written a largish piece about P1 and similar clubs for Car that will be in the March issue.

Hi Jon
We have an age restriction of 25; for those wishing to join between the ages of 25-30 there is a specific driving skills course. Over 30 there is a different driving skills course which is mandatory unless the applicant has had the right driving experience, car ownership and driving history.
We do have a small process which involves meeting with the potential applicant, this enables us to find out a little about you and to inform you of how the club works, therefore ensuring that your expectation of the club are realistic.
We do not normally provide our terms and conditions to enquiries until they have had a meeting and are seriously considering P1 Membership.
Please feel free to either call or email again if I can answer any more questions or if you wish to organize an appointment; I can come to you or if you wish to see how the P1 operation, we welcome appointments here in Leatherhead.
Kind Regards
Joanne Foot

I'm going to meet them, i'm not quite 25 - but have owned 360s/355/gt3s/esprit/sl55amg. I like the sound of P1, not having to worry about running costs - insurance (having had my new gt3 nicked was a real pain in the ar$e) depreciation etc.
