If you pop into ACE MOT on Fanny Street and speak to Dean (or ring them), he'll give you the number of his brother, Phil, who has a paintshop down Roath somewhere. This guy is a diamond. He will pick the car up and have it sprayed and return it as good as new.
Is he good? Well he did both sides of my 1987 black Camaro and I feared the worst since black is a swine to match. When it came back, the paint was perfect and the colour match was perfect. A colleague here has a BMW 328 Convertible that has been scraped across the back bumper on no less than 3 occasions now and on each occasion, she rings Phil, he picks the car up and it's back as good as new.
Best part is that he's also cheap. Usually less than £200. Think it was £400 for the sides of the camaro because someone else was paying for damage they'd done so it was carte blanche (and still cheap).
I'd give you the number but the lady in question isn't here.

Thanks for the replies chaps.
Will have a chat with both Phil and Ian when the time comes.
In fairness though, plenty of other PHers have recommended them for stone chips etc. so maybe we just drew a short straw(?)
Thanks
Richard

If its not too big I would try Chips away.
