First Post and Happy day
Discussion
Hi all,
This is my first post on here.
Nearly 3 months ago and the day before my 31st birthday I picked up my new 911C4S. I love the car it goes like the clappers, handles like a go cart and keeps me grinning. I initially wanted a Turbo but the 2 year wait was too much to bear. So I placed orders for various new cars/models of 911 for the future and was happy to wait.
The GF wanted to take a look at all the lurvely cars at the dealers at the weekend so on Sunday we pootled over for a looksee. Big mistake, they had a 4 month old Turbo with Aerokit (it looks the nuts) that had just come in with the exact spec i wanted. I got taken out for a spin and before I had said yes I was lready signing paper. So I am giving up a car I truly adore for one that i really really want.
I will have to live in the thing now and cant afford my monthly chocolate binge but I need some reassurance i have done the right thing!!

I love a happy ending.
Go find an empty dual carriageway. Grab third gear at fifty then boot it to 6.5k revs (105mph) then snatch 4th and watch how quickly you hit 140. This should indicate if it's worth the extra over the C4S.
We can't give you the reassurance but the car bloody well can!

PS1 Got mine in April, run it in and was at the Nurburgring in May, haven't regretted a single day.
PS2 What spec & colour?
Great choice of colour I went for Arctic Silver and black as well.
Mines also got a blasted sunroof (standard UK spec), which means I can't fit in the car wearing a bloody helmet, thus precluding me from doing trackdays (BIGGGG BOOOOOO HISSSSSS). Do you get any rattles from the passenger rear roof section? or is it just the bloody roads near me and my driving?

Well done!
You will need a full compliment of anti-speed detection devices across your dash, however, especially if you drive the car routinely.
It's not exactly licence friendly, is it?
Just whack a TechArt exhaust on it and the words 'motoring' and 'nirvana' spring to mind.
