In the next 1000 miles I'm going to need 4 new tyres for my 997 turbo. I've always used Blackcircles and find the service and price great. The car currently has Michelin PS2 which seem fine for me. Have any of you experience of Falken Azenis or Bridgestone Potenza - either aren't a huge saving, but I'm just interested on thoughts/experiences.

Thanks

Bridgestone are a good hard wearing tyre but can be a handful outside of warm dry conditions. if you like a lively drive these are the ones to go for. my rears have lasted 30k miles and are due for replacement. by comparison I am lucky to get 12k out of the ps2.

I am about to fit mpss onto the turbo and am intending to run cup 2s on track.

I am not under warranty.

Interesting. I can barely get 12000 miles out of Bridgestone or PS2s. Both very good all round tyres. Cup 2s are on another level but not good below 8 degrees although for me I've had more fun on my Cup 2s in the winter and rain on road than I have had with them on bright sunny days on track. They're a hoot sliding around in the cold and rain and pretty rapid in the dry!

Stick with the Michelins they are considerably better than the other brands you've mentioned. If you are not tied to an OPC warranty, then an upgrade to Pilot Super Sports would be even better.
