knocking/klicking noise

When I turn right using full lock there is a noise that seems to come from the left front wheel area. Does anyone have any ideas? My car is a 997 turbo if that helps at all.
Thanks,
Pete
Could be a number of things but the most common reason for the noise at full lock -- in either direction -- is the inside front tire scrubs as one backs the car out (or drives the car forward). Cold tires, or old/hard (due to heat cycling) tires are particularly bad. I'm in my 996 Turbo in sub 20F temperatures and the relatively low miles front tires on my car make a heck of a racket as I back out of the hotel parking space. Thanks,
Pete
You can get a feel for why the inside front tire scrubs a full lock by pulling into a parking lot where you have the room to cut the steering wheel full lock and then shut off the engine. Get out and sight how the outer front tire sits flat on the pavement while the inside front tire is about half way off the pavement.
If you hear noises at other times, not at full lock, there could be something else amiss and you need to get the car inspected.
Thanks for the quick replies.
I'll get the car in garage and have a look if anything is rubbing or catching. I'm leaning towards the wheel weights as the winter wheels were put on a month ago with new tyres and I started to notice the sound a couple of weeks ago. Both of the lower arms at the front were replaced in September and the rest of the suspension was given the OK. Fingers crossed.
