Dolan Tuono - very good spec..?

I'm still pondering over a few different bikes, this has come into the mix now.

Spec wise is that good? Zipp wheels, Ultegra 6800 and a decent carbon frame (from the reviews).

What do you all think?

Pretty much the UK equivalent of Canyon, direct sales, low overheads etc.
The frames are good quality and they have supported some UCI pro/continental tour teams recently, An Post being one though they used the Ares which is the frame I would go for.

I can't see what's not to like.

A light weight, 'Cycling Plus' test winning bike. Full Ultegra 6800 11 speed and a set of £800 Zipp wheels (with the all important alloy brake track). All slung onto a decent carbon frame from a company with a pretty strong reputation for making quality bikes. Plus the added bonus of it being the 'right' colour combo (for me, at least).

£2,230 (including bars/stem upgrade and pedals) + £65 (bike fitting) and a trip to Ormskirk. I may well not need a "What bike?" thread after all...

ive got one, but a much lower spec. it's a nice bike to ride, firm and responsive, but not harsh, did a few 100s on it last year very comfortably. i wasn't happy with the customer service i received, and the unbox experience was a huge disappointment i felt. that said, the bike is great value for money, and nice a rare relatively. let me know if you have any questions, as apart from their own site, and that one review, they don't have a lot of info online.

a box arrived, a bit mangled, took it inside, opened the box, no padding inside at all! a bit of bubble wrap over the top tube, but apart from that, just a bike in a box. no info on the bike or setup, just a receipt.
so when i started to assemble it, i had no idea if the bike had been indexed or if it was knackered (it turned out the rear mech had taken a clout in transit which they begrudgingly replaced eventually).
i know setting up a bike isn't hard, but got the impression that they just didn't care for how the bike arrived which is a shame when you spend so much time and money picking a new bike for yourself. i also wrote to them, explaining how i felt, and that the product was good, but the other little extras didn't match the quality of the bike. that email was ignored. shame.

Was looking at (a lower spec) Tuono myself, but your story is enough to make me think again. Shame!

the bike is great, i'd only buy one if i could walk into the shop/warehouse and buy it though.
they should be a bigger brand with the product they have, just a shame the way i felt i was treated.

i hope this sounds balanced, there not cowboys, just my experience was lacking.
