How long till the £20k Evora?

Over the last year I've felt an increasing yearning for an Evora, but £30k is out of my reach. £20k is another matter if I can face selling the Elise and going down to just 1 car.
So with a facelift coming out and (hopefully) restrictions in supply starting to relax, will second hand prices start to come down? What do you think they'll bottom out at and how long until the cheapest 2+2 non-S cars hit £20k? Obviously all speculation but it'll feed my dreams for now!
I'll come clean and say I think the Evora will follow a similar path to the Esprit and (eventually) drop down to sub-£10K. I don't think it'll plateau at 30% of original value like the Elise has simply because the Elise has a niche market to itself while an Evora will always be up against a large number of older 911's and Caymans. I still think it'll depreciate quite gracefully though and I'm guessing it's 18 months before £20k cars start to appear.

My guess is that the new 2015 Evora will go up in price with the increase in power and performance, if that's the case the current model will hold it's second hand value particularly with very low number of cars out there.
I agree my Europa sold for around £16K four years ago http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/l...The panning the Europa got when it was launched was IMHO unjustified whilst it may not be as "hard core" as a Exige etc it still one quick car and the Evora is quicker
I think it will be quite some time. Forecourt prices have been pretty much static the last couple of years with mileages increasing. 2 years ago a well specced 2 year old car was c£33k, they still are only now they are 4 years old and with more miles.
The car above has a spec issue, which us why it will always be a hard sell. I know of a 75k car for with a decent spec for recently sold for £25k.
I agree the new model will likely be more expensive and really don't see a massive effect on Used prices.

When I was looking a year ago, the cheapest cars were around £30k rising to £34 with all three packs. Mileage didnt make much difference. I track the prices, and there has been no real change over the last 12 months.
The £26k car advertised has been on the market for over a year, it does not have the Sport Pack IIRC.
I will probably be selling mine later this year with about 60k miles on it, (to get another one maybe an IPS do the Mrs will drive it) I suspect that the price will still be above £25-28k as mine has all 3 packs, barge boards, tubular exhaust, all niggles sorted, no leaks and a recent clutch.
The N/A cars do seem tpo have plateaued already at around £30k and I think it will only be high mileage and non Lotus dealer cars that go for much less. I think £20k is quite a long way off due to rareity.

I paid £32k for mine in Nov 2012 and prices have moved glacially since then. I think it's due to being tightly controlled by the dealer network and lack of supply. I saw similar slow depreciation on my Elise. I think it will be a long time until we see £20k - these are a great second hand buy and it still looks like a tight market.

would be shocked if they reach 20k..look at exiges of the same vintage...my09 exiges are still more expensive than an evora. at 30k evoras represent amazing value. also evoras at 30k tend to be n/a..they stopped doing them so these are in short supply...hence these cars tend to be in high demand. the cars are very spec dependent and mileage dependent. i bought my car 3 years ago and if i were to buy from a dealer tomm id end up paying more than i paid for it:-) i really struggled with what to replave my evora with..ended up buying a westfield for more weekend fun and kept the evora. amazing cars...buy one you wont regret it
It'll take a while, but I'm sure they will come down that far and further still. I think the Elise & Exige have a unique niche which basically means if you want a lightweight 2nd car without too many compromises but more practical than a Caterham then they're pretty much the only game in town.
For all it's virtues the same isn't quite true for the Evora, especially with a facelift and increased production coming.
Obviously my view as a hopeful potential owner may be different to that of an existing owner
