I am looking to change the unit under the handbrake, the switch panels and the handbrake for carbon parts and I am having problems sourcing them. Anyone got any idea where I might get original parts from?

www.prestigeparts.co.uk will satisfy your sickest carbon fantasies, I'm sure.

Domster, I take it you don't like carbon?

Domster doesn't like anything that looks pretty and adds no real performance benefit - He's a hard core, hot rocking bitch of a man living life on the edge and has no time for fancies of that nature. You're lucky he doesn't come round and 'break ya balls' just for that reply Turbofree. You don't mess with the Domster, he's a one man killing machine!!

LOL, you won't get away with that Scottster, Turbofree has met me and knows that he'd win in a bar brawl!!!

Yeah, I don't mind carbon, but think it's a waste of money unless decreasing the weight of your car. Get it for bonnets, panels and doors. For trim? Hmmm, how much does the plastic handbrake tray weigh anyway? Ounces. The carbon dial trim even *adds* weight, by being stuck on to the existing dash. Although as Paul Daniels would say, 'not a lot'!

I think Roadrunner found a supplier of carbon doors and stuff for the 993TT. Maybe he will post here.

Cheers
Dom
PS I'm sure one of the forum members was a wiz when it came to carbon - Steve, used to have an Elan. Maybe he could knock up some useful carbon bits, and maybe some un-useful trinkety things like sun visors and cup holders as well
